A cozy winter newborn session with twin girls who had just arrived home from the NICU. It was a snowy day, and these parents were so happy to have their babies home finally.

HOW I HANDLE TWIN SESSIONS

You might think that having twins at a session versus a single baby would change the flow of the session, and to be honest, it really doesn’t. All it means is double the baby portraits, but other than that, I just navigate it like a normal newborn session. Except each parent gets to hold a baby for this one 😉 I try to keep the babies close, because being next to each other is where they are happiest. I also like to keep each baby in their own color throughout the session so that when you look back at the gallery, you will always know which baby was which.
